Our Materials
At Mia's Magic, quality, safety, and care are at the heart of everything we do. We use only high-quality, professional water-based face paint that adheres to the strict safety standards set by both the EU and the FDA. This face paint has been rigorously tested to ensure it is safe for children aged 3 and up. It is also fragrance-free, gluten-free, and hypoallergenic, making it perfect for even the most sensitive skin.
We take hygiene just as seriously as product safety. Our brushes are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before, during, and after each event, ensuring a fresh and clean experience for every child. Additionally, we use sponges once per child and wash them after every use to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
While we take every precaution to ensure safety, we understand that skin sensitivities can vary. If any reaction occurs, we recommend removing the face paint immediately using soap and water.
Sustainability
Sustainable living is a core value for me, and I strive to bring that same consciousness to my face painting work. While face painting may not immediately seem eco-friendly, I make every effort to use products that are kind to both people and the planet. I carefully choose products that are free of paraffin (a petroleum byproduct), ensuring they align with my environmentally conscious standards. Additionally, as I am allergic to beeswax and lanolin, all the products I use are vegan and completely free from animal testing.
The glitter I use is plant-based rather than plastic-based. This Bio Glitter isn’t just compostable—it’s also softer and more comfortable to wear, offering a beautiful sparkle without the environmental harm of traditional glitter.
For glitter tattoos, I’ve chosen reusable stamps instead of disposable plastic stencils. Not only do they significantly reduce waste, but they also allow me to create stunning designs in a more sustainable way. Every small change counts toward a greener future!
Working Area
I live in Lelystad but am happy to travel for the right opportunity. My work area typically includes Almere, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Amersfoort, and Apeldoorn, as well as northern areas like Zwolle, Emmeloord, Hoorn, and Alkmaar. I’m also open to traveling further afield to places such as Rotterdam, Nijmegen, Groningen, or Friesland. Feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities!
