From individual techniques to complete face paint designs

In the course, you’ll first learn how to use face paints, brushes and sponges properly. You’ll then apply these techniques in 12 step-by-step designs for the face and arm.

For each design, you’ll follow the entire process from start to finish: from the first colours and shapes to linework, highlights and final details. The designs gradually become more detailed, helping you build more variety and control in your face painting.

Some of the designs you’ll learn to create during the course:

The course includes a total of 12 complete step-by-step designs for the face and arm.

Does face painting look easier when someone else does it?

You see a beautiful face paint design, try to recreate it yourself, and quickly notice that the result looks different than expected. The colours don’t apply evenly, the lines are difficult to control, or you’re not sure what order to work in.

This usually isn’t because you lack creativity. Without a good foundation, it can be difficult to understand:

  • how much water to use with face paint;

  • how to apply colours smoothly with a sponge;

  • which brush to use for each technique;

  • how to create clean lines, teardrops and shapes;

  • what order to follow when building a design.

In the Beginners Face Painting Course, you won’t just learn how to recreate complete designs. You’ll start with the materials and basic techniques and build your skills step by step from there.

This helps you understand what you’re doing and gives you more and more control over your face painting.
