What is included in a professional face painter’s price?

The price covers more than the minutes spent painting faces. It also reflects the preparation and professional delivery of the booking. This includes:

• professional cosmetic face paint and skin-appropriate decorative products;

• brushes, sponges, hygiene supplies and a professional setup;

• travel time, setting up, packing away and cleaning the equipment;

Mia’s Magic uses products intended for cosmetic use. However, no cosmetic product can guarantee that an individual skin reaction will never occur. Does a guest have sensitive skin, allergies, broken skin or a skin condition? Please mention this in advance and, when in doubt, consider whether face painting is appropriate. Never use acrylic paint or craft paint as face paint. These products are not developed or labelled for cosmetic use on the skin.

Travel and parking costs

Mia’s Magic charges €0.40 per kilometre driven from Lelystad. Paid parking is charged separately. A parking space is required within a five-minute walk of the face-painting area so that equipment can be loaded and unloaded safely.

Additional time

Does the kids’ party last longer or is the group larger? Additional time costs €42.50 per 30 minutes including VAT. For events, extra time is charged at the applicable hourly rate.

An additional artist or a different service

For high visitor numbers, an additional artist may be required to keep waiting times manageable. A glitter bar, neon face painting or a combination of activities has its own rate. Request a quote based on your programme and expected number of guests.

What is needed at the venue?

Mia’s Magic brings a professional face-painting and glitter chair. The client provides one standard table; a children’s table or high table is not suitable. The workspace must be easily accessible and, for outdoor bookings, protected from direct sunlight, wind and rain.

At temperatures below 15°C, working indoors is preferred. If the outdoor temperature is below 15°C, a heated marquee with side panels is required. Discuss the workspace in advance so the booking can start without delays.
