At Midnight Magic, everything revolves around transformation. Using professional face paint, body paint, colour, shape and texture, Valinda creates unique looks inspired by a character, story, theme or visual concept.
Her work ranges from fantasy and botanical body art to bold graphic designs, dark creations and colourful festival looks. Every design is tailored to the person, setting and desired style of the project.

About Valinda
The artist behind Midnight Magic
Midnight Magic Body Art was founded by Valinda Voogt, a professional and internationally certified face painting artist based in Lelystad.
Her work combines technical face painting skills with a love of fantasy, colour and designs that follow the natural shapes of the face and body. She only works with professional, cosmetic-grade products that are designed for use on the skin.
Alongside her artistic commissions, Valinda also provides face painting, glitter services and creative event activations through Mia’s Magic.
From idea to unique design
1. Introduction
You tell me about the event, photoshoot, theme and desired result.
2. Concept and proposal
Based on your ideas, you will receive a proposal outlining the style, scope, required time and investment.
3. Preparation
Colours, references and practical details are discussed in advance. For larger projects, a design or mood board can also be prepared.
4. The transformation
On location, the face or body art is carefully built up and adapted to the model, setting and lighting.

Yes. Smaller face and body art designs can be developed to suit the theme and available time. For events requiring a high visitor flow, the separate festival face painting service for adults is usually the better option.
Can I book Midnight Magic for a photoshoot?
Yes. Midnight Magic is available for artistic shoots, portfolio projects, fantasy concepts, campaigns and personal photoshoots. The design can be coordinated with the photographer, stylist or client.
Does Midnight Magic work on location?
Yes. Midnight Magic is based in Lelystad and works on location throughout the Netherlands. The possibilities and any travel conditions will be discussed in advance.
How much does a face or body art commission cost?
The price depends on the size and complexity of the design, preparation, painting time, location and intended use. After discussing your concept, you will receive a tailored proposal. Elaborate body painting is available from €300.
